Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team in Mumbai. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about social media, content creation, digital trends, and brand storytelling.
As a Social Media Intern, you will gain hands-on experience managing brand pages, creating content ideas, tracking performance, and working closely with creative and marketing teams on real client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Search Social Media Management Optimization
- Assist in planning and managing content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Schedule and publish content as per campaign requirements.
- Ensure brand consistency across social media channels.
Content Creation & Ideation
- Research trends, viral formats, and content opportunities.
- Assist in generating ideas for:
- Reels
- Carousels
- Static Posts
- Stories
- Campaign Content
- Write captions, content hooks, and basic copy for social media posts.
- Support content planning and brainstorming sessions.
Community Engagement
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions.
- Assist in responding to queries and maintaining brand engagement.
- Help build and manage online communities.
Research & Analytics
- Track basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, and saves.
- Assist in preparing social media reports and content insights.
- Conduct competitor research and identify content trends.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with designers, video editors, content writers, and marketing team members.
- Support campaign launches, content shoots, and marketing activities when required.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media marketing and digital content.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Canva and basic design tools.
- Understanding of social media trends and internet culture.
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite is a plus.
- Experience managing personal, college, or freelance social media pages.
- Basic content writing or reel scripting skills.
