Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our team in Mumbai. This internship is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, search engines, and website optimization, and wants to gain practical experience in SEO.
As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with our marketing and content teams to support SEO activities, improve website visibility, conduct keyword research, and contribute to organic growth strategies across client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimization
- Assist in conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Support on-page SEO activities, including optimizing meta titles, descriptions, headings, and content.
- Help identify opportunities to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
- Assist in implementing SEO best practices across websites and digital assets.
SEO Audits & Analysis
- Participate in basic website SEO audits and performance reviews.
- Monitor website health, indexing, and search visibility.
- Assist in tracking keyword rankings and website performance metrics.
Content Optimization
- Work closely with content writers to ensure SEO-friendly content creation.
- Support content optimization for blogs, landing pages, and website pages.
- Research search trends and content opportunities.
Reporting & Research
- Assist in preparing SEO performance reports and presentations.
- Analyze competitor websites and industry trends.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with content, design, and marketing teams on SEO-related initiatives.
- Support digital marketing campaigns with SEO recommendations and insights.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts, keyword research, and search engines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Google Search, websites, and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of SEO and digital marketing.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest.
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and link building.
- Knowledge of content marketing and social media platforms.
- Experience working on personal projects, blogs, or digital marketing coursework is a plus.
